For this year’s Fall Play, Uni Theatre Arts will be presenting The Whole Darn Shooting Match by Jack Perry on November 19th-21st in the Big Theatre at University High School at 7 pm.

Funny situations, ridiculous behavior, and completely wild ideas come fast and furious in this comedy about the world of advertising.

Set in the Creative Room of a small, local advertising agency, the story follows a larger-than-life TV commercial writer, a wildly unpredictable artist, a sharp-witted office assistant, and their beloved Creative Director, who have created their own chaotic—and very unconventional—way of doing things.

But when a new company president arrives from New York with an efficiency expert, everything changes. The new leadership wants to clean things up, expand the company nationally, and hand their biggest account over to a major Madison Avenue agency. Suddenly, the Creative Room crew is fighting to save both their jobs and the way they’ve always done things.

The 25 student actors and 44 student crew members involved in the Fall Play will work alongside Uni Theatre Arts director Ranae Bettger, IUSD Theatre Operational Technician Mitchel Simoncini, and an amazing staff of industry professionals (Beylul Ephrem, Kimberly Mason, Lauren Bee, and Alex Mason) to create this production.
