Spring Musical 2024
The students involved in the Spring Musical work alongside Uni Theatre Arts director Ranae Bettger, Musical Director Rob Blaney, IUSD Theatre Technician Mitchel Simoncini and an amazing staff of industry professionals and volunteers to create memorable theatre experiences for the community.
This year’s Musical featured 28 actors, 27 running crew members, 4 pit vocalists, 22 pit musicians and 9 house crew members: all students at University High School.
Evita performed March 7th-19th & March 14th-16th @ 7pm in the Big Theatre at University High School.
Fall Play 2023
Uni Theatre Arts presented Morgan Gould’s A Wrinkle In Time on November 16th -18th in the Big Theatre at University High School.
The students involved in the Fall Play worked alongside Uni Theatre Arts director Ranae Bettger, IUSD Theatre Technician Mitchel Simoncini and an amazing staff of industry professionals and volunteers to create this memorable production.
This devized piece featured 24 actors, 5 designers, 21 running crew and 17 house crew members: all students at University High School.
Summer Practicum 2023
The Summer Practicum is an intense learning experience for the most passionate students involved with Uni Theatre Arts. These students audition to participate in a small ensemble, student centric, learning opportunity tailored to prepare them for a career or collegiate experiences in the industry. This summer, eight actors and five designers joined forces with four adults to create a show that was truly their own.
We understand that this viewing experience is unique, and thatโs intentional. This type of material is not the usual for Uni Theatre Arts mainstage; however, it is important the students are able to develop in ways those productions simply do not allow. The opportunity to work on contemporary material and with such a small company allows each individual to truly shine and develop.
