UNI Comedy Sportz

Comedy Sportz is team competitive improvisation; think “Whose Line is it Anyway” with a sporting twist.   Two teams of improvisational “Actletes” compete for laughs and points.   The referee keeps the match moving, gets suggestions from the Loyal Fanz (the audience), and calls any fouls that may occur on the playing field.

University High School participates with Comedy Sportz through their High School League. We have a team of about 25 players who compete in around 7-10 shows a year. Our team practices once a week at lunch with our captains, once a week after-school with our advisor and once a month with our league coach. We hope we’ll see you at auditions or at a show!
